In 2019 we embarked on an ambitious custom home project and after interviewing several builders, we entrusted Ravensbrook Homes with delivering on our dream. It was Ron's experience and integrity that stood out to us and he was true to his word as he delivered on our forever home.

I first met Ron Muszynski as a member of Credit Valley Golf Club approximately 20 years ago. I knew him
only as a nice man who was in the construction business. Some years later, we bought a magnificent, 10-acre property overlooking the river and the golf course. Since we were about to enter an incredibly significant undertaking in building a large estate home, we got involved with an architect who ultimately recommended a different builder. We took his advice and this ultimately became a very difficult experience for us. About one third of the way through the process, I had gotten to know Ron better and decided to make a change to Ravensbrook Homes. This was not out first experience in building a home, but it was certainly our first in working with a contractor like Ron. The level of expertise available to us was immediately obvious. The sub trades that Ravensbrook provided were excellent. They were reliable and their craftsmanship was undeniable. But most importantly, we never heard anything but the truth from Ron Muszynski. You cannot spend months, even years, on a large construction project without a few hiccups. When that happens you, the customer must hear the absolute truth from your builder, about what is happening so that you may participate intelligently in decisions going forward. Working with Ron in these areas was an absolute pleasure. I have been in business for a long time and participated in thousands of transactions with thousands of different people. I am not easily fooled. When we decided to build a new home, we chose Ron Muszynski of RAVENSBROOK HOMES, after researching what he had built and in talking to friends who had first-hand knowledge and experience from working with Ron. We also conducted our own personal interview.
Ron proved to have skills that went far beyond just being a good contractor. He was very knowledgeable about building codes and local zoning regulations as well about the latest products and building materials available. He had excellent and trusted contractors with whom he had a great working relationship. During construction he and his people all acted as if they were building their own home and recommended several very thoughtful and positive revisions to the design and finishes.
Although a project as large as ours is never without its challenges and setbacks resulting from everything such as weather to the timely arrival of building materials and products, Ron was able to negotiate all of the issues and obstacles and was always very proactive in communicating what was occurring. We felt that we were being kept informed and updated during every step of the way.
At the end of the day we have a great new home. But it does not end there. Although it has been two years since we moved in and we are totally satisfied there have been a few issues and questions that have come up long the way. We can count on Ron to always respond in a very timely way and to address any concerns or issues that do arise.
